Heading into gameweek 22 of the FPL, the managers will be hoping for a high-scoring gameweek. The average points in gameweek 21 were a decent 55, while the highest score was a staggering 148.

Matz Sels - £5.0m - GK - Nottingham Forest - vs Southampton (H)

Matz Sels, the highest-scoring goalkeeper this season, has a very high chance of producing yet another haul as Nottingham Forest take on the struggling Southampton. With 9 clean sheets, Selz and Forest have the best defensive record in the league this season, while Southampton have the worst attack in the league this season, scoring only 13 goals so far.

Antonee Robinson - £5.0m - DEF - Fulham - vs Leicester City (A)

Providing 2 assists in his previous match against West Ham, Robinson further increased his record of being the defender with the most assists in the league this season and as the top-scoring defender in the game. Going up against a struggling Leicester side, Robinson has a great chance of producing returns at both ends of the pitch. 

Ola Aina - £5.3m - DEF - Nottingham Forest - vs Southampton (H)

Aina’s attacking threat, combined with Nottingham Forest’s rock-solid defence, makes him a must-have defender this season. Averaging 4.6 points per match this season, Aina has been a standout pick. Going up against a vulnerable Southampton side, a big haul seems quite likely for the Nigerian full-back.

Mohamed Salah (VC) - £13.7m - MID - Liverpool - vs Brentford (A)

Having blanked in his previous game against Nottingham Forest, Liverpool’s Egyptian king would be looking to bounce back strongly. Being the top scorer in the game this season and having blanked only twice in 21 gameweeks, Salah still remains an absolute no-brainer of a pick.

With a majority of managers opting for his teammates, Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon, Murphy is currently owned by just 5.4% of the managers. With a form of 6.0, Murphy can potentially produce a huge haul, whose benefits can only be reaped by those willing to play risky.

Amad Diallo - £5.5m - MID - Manchester United - vs Brighton & Hove Albion (H)

Man United’s young star has been the top differential pick of the season, producing his biggest ever haul in the game 2 days ago. With a hat-trick against Southampton in GW 21, Diallo has now registered a G/A of 13 in just 14 starts. Being one of the most in-form players in the game currently, Amad Diallo is the 2nd most transferred-in player before the beginning of GW 22.

Chris Wood - £6.4m - FWD - Nottingham Forest - vs Southampton (H)

The Run Of Play has decided to go all-in on Nottingham Forest as they face Southampton in the upcoming gameweek. A triple up on Forest, with our third pick being the best of them all. Chris Wood is experiencing a historical and his best-ever campaign in his illustrious career in the Premier League.

With 13 goals and 1 assist, Wood has scored an emphatic 123 points this season, averaging 5.9 points per match. With his goal against Liverpool in GW 21, Wood surpassed Erling Haaland’s points tally to become the top-scoring forward this season.
