The Fantasy Premier League is heading into its 24th gameweek, which also happens to be the first double gameweek of this season’s Premier League.
Everton's clash with Liverpool at Goodison Park, which was supposed to be played in GW 15, was rescheduled for GW 24, leading to 2 matches in the upcoming gameweek for the Merseyside rivals.
Here is our best XI of the gameweek 24 of FPL:
Jordan Pickford - £5.1m - GK - Everton - vs Leicester City (H), Liverpool (H)
In the double gameweek for Everton, Jordan Pickford remains a standout pick between the posts for GW 24. Currently standing as the highest-scoring Everton player this season, along with being the second-highest-scoring goalkeeper this season, Pickford possesses a high chance of producing a big haul this gameweek.
Lewis Hall - £5.1m - DEF - Newcastle United - vs Fulham (H)
Newcastle’s home game against Fulham offers a great opportunity for their rising full-back, Lewis Hall, to regain his form. Averaging 4.0 points per game, Hall still remains one of the highest-owned defenders in the game, despite a dip in his form.
Trent Alexander-Arnold - £7.3m - DEF - Liverpool - vs Bournemouth (A), Everton (A)
Liverpool’s star defender has regained his form just in time for the double gameweek , scoring 16 points in his last 2 matches. With his 6 assists, Trent remains the defender with the highest creativity in the game this season, with a creativity index rating of 677.9.
Marc Cucurella - £5.1m - DEF - Chelsea - vs West Ham United (H)
West Ham’s struggles, both in attack and defence, offer a great opportunity for Chelsea’s advanced full-back to provide returns at both ends of the pitch. With his 2 goals and 2 assists, Cucurella’s attacking threat makes him a strong pick in the defence for FPL.

Amad Diallo - £5.6m - MID - Manchester United - vs Crystal Palace (H)
Manchester United’s young prodigy has been their most impactful since Ruben Amorim’s arrival back in November. Having scored a hat trick in GW 21 vs. Southampton, Amad has recorded 6 goals and 7 assists in just 16 starts this season, making him one of the best differential picks in FPL this season, priced at just £5.6m currently.
Morgan Rogers - £5.6m - MID - Aston Villa - vs Wolves (A)
Averaging 4.4 points per game in his last 5 games, Aston Villa’s no. 10 possesses the ability to punish one of the worst defenses in the league in his upcoming match. With his 2 goals in Villa’s Champions League clash vs. Celtic on Wednesday, Morgan Rogers is currently Villa’s most in-form player.
Bryan Mbeumo - £7.9m - MID - Brentford vs Tottenham Hotspur (H)
Averaging 6.4 points per match this season, with a current form of 7.4, Brentford’s star winger can punish Tottenham Hotspur’s vulnerable high line, allowing space in behind the defence for Mbeumo to capitalize with his pace and brilliant attack positioning.
Mohamed Salah - £13.7m - MID - Liverpool - vs Bournemouth (A), Everton (A)
Liverpool’s Egyptian king is the standout captaincy pick for GW 24 with the upcoming double gameweek. Salah has been, by far, the best player in the game this season, scoring 19 goals and 13 assists in just 22 starts. The upcoming double gameweek also provides the managers with the perfect opportunity to use their triple captain chip on Salah, who can provide them with a massive double-digit haul.
Ollie Watkins—£8.9m—FWD—Aston Villa—vs Wolves (A)
With his 10 goals and 9 assists in 19 starts, Aston Villa’s No. 11 possesses a great opportunity to bag a significant number of goals against Wolves, who currently have the second-worst defence in the entire league this season.
Alexander Isak - £9.5m - FWD - Newcastle United - vs Fulham (H)
Isak’s tremendous form, especially at St. James Park, makes him one of the standout picks in GW 24, ahead of his home game against Fulham. Averaging 0.89 goals per 90 minutes, with a total of 22 goal contributions in just 21 starts, Newcastle’s no. 9 is on course for his best ever performance in a Premier League season.
Cody Gakpo - £7.6m - FWD - Liverpool - vs Bournemouth (A), Everton (A)
Cody Gakpo completes the Liverpool triple up for our best XI for their upcoming double gameweek. Gakpo’s 16-point haul against Ipswich in the previous gameweek was his highest this season, which was his 8th goal in the Premier League season in just 14 starts.
