The Premier League season is heading into its final ten gameweeks, with Liverpool in pole position to clinch the title this season.

This season’s FPL has been one of the highest scoring ones at this point of time in a Premier League campaign, with managers expecting another blockbuster and high-scoring gameweek with mouth-watering clashes set to be played over the weekend.

Here is our Best XI for GW 25 of FPL:

Fillip Jorgensen - £4.2m - GK - Chelsea - vs Leicester City (H)

Priced at just £4.2m, Jorgensen has become one of the best goalkeeper picks in the game after having become Chelsea’s No. 1 choice over Robert Sanchez in between the posts. Managing to keep a clean sheet in his previous game, the Swedish goalkeeper is tipped to prevent Chelsea from conceding yet again, facing the struggling attack of Leicester City.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - £7.3m - DEF - Liverpool - vs Southampton (H)

Facing the vulnerable Southampton side, who currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League points table, Liverpool’s creative maestro has the opportunity to produce returns at both ends of the pitch, possessing a high attacking threat and a strong possibility of maintaining a clean sheet.

Daniel Munoz - £5.0m - DEF - Crystal Palace - vs Ipswich Town (H)

A favourable home fixture offers Palace’s in-form full-back a great opportunity to continue delivering strong returns to his backers. Averaging 6.0 points and producing two double-digit hauls in his last 5 games, Munoz has been one of the most reliable defensive picks in the game this season.

Djed Spence -  £4.4m - DEF - Tottenham Hotspur - vs Bournemouth (H)

Despite Tottenham’s struggles this season, the 3 back-to-back wins in the league recently have offered some incentive to the managers to consider picks from Ange Postecoglou’s side, with Djed Spence appearing as one of the top picks at the moment. Averaging 6.0 points in his last 5 games, Spence is currently the joint-second most in-form defender in the game.

Mohamed Salah (c) - C13.8m - MID - Liverpool - vs. Southampton (H)

The top-scoring player in FPL this season is on course to create history once again by breaking his own record of the most points scored in a single season. Averaging a staggering 10.4 per game this season and averaging 10.6 points in his last 5 matches, Mo Salah is tipped to produce another huge haul in Liverpool’s clash against one of the worst defences in the league this season.

The Run Of Play's Best XI

Omar Marmoush - £7.2m - MID - Manchester City - vs. Nottingham Forest (A)

Manchester City’s new signing appeared to provide them some spark that the team desperately needs this season, with a world-class hat trick against Newcastle United in GW 25. In a tough clash against Nottingham, away from home, City’s No. 7 could provide them with the clinicality in front of the goal and provide a return to his backers.

Cole Palmer - £11.1m - MID - Chelsea - vs. Leicester City (H)

Chelsea’s top-scoring player is going through a dry patch, having provided just one assist in his last 6 games. However, the Englishman still averages 6.7 matches per game this season and still remains a reliable asset in the game.

Bryan Mbeumo - £8.1m - MID - Brentford - vs. Newcastle United (A)

Despite a tough fixture against Newcastle away from home, Mbeumo still possesses the ability to produce a return, being one of the most in-form players in the game, producing a massive 14-point haul in his previous game.

Justin Kluivert - £6.1m - MID - Bournemouth - vs. Tottenham Hotspur (A)

Justin Kluivert has been one of the biggest differentials in the game this season, averaging a form of 5.7 points per game and producing 3 double-digit hauls in his last 6 games, including a staggering 22-point haul against Newcastle United in gameweek 22.

Alexander Isak (vc) - £9.4M - FWD - Newcastle United - vs. West Ham United (A)

With 19 goals and 5 assists in just 24 starts, Isak is on course to finish the current Premier League campaign with his best ever numbers. The Swedish striker has recovered just in time to be available for the West Ham clash on Monday, having missed Newcastle’s previous game, and therefore, he becomes a must-have player yet again.

Ollie Watkins - £8.9m - FWD - Aston Villa - vs. Brentford (A)

Aston Villa’s No. 9 poses a strong record against Brentford, with a G/A of 5 in his last 3 meetings with the Bees, while also producing a 12-point haul in the reverse back in December 2024. Brentford's turbulent defence offers Watkins a great opportunity to further bolster his record against his former club and rewards the 20.1% of the players who have picked the star striker.
