Jadon Sancho’s saga with Chelsea has taken an unexpected turn, which might end in a surprising exit for him, despite the fans naming the Englishman’s move back to Stamford Bridge as a “match made in heaven.”

As per the Daily Mail, the possibility of Jadon Sancho returning to Manchester United has become quite likely once his short-term loan spell with the Blues ends. 

However, multiple reports are also claiming that Chelsea will permanently sign the 24-year-old winger in the upcoming summer transfer window to further bolster their attack.

What is the new twist in Sancho’s story with Chelsea?

As per Football.London, Chelsea have developed a major interest in Real Betis’ prolific winger, Jesus Rodriguez, whose transfer will cost the Blues an approximate fee of €50m, because of which they are exploring the option of letting the Manchester United loanee leave in the summer.

On top of that, Sancho’s performances have drastically deteriorated in the last couple of months, with other players in the same position, such as Tyrique George and Pedro Neto, putting up consistent performances and rising up the pecking order under Enzo Maresca.

Although the void left by Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke’s subpar performance still provides an opportunity for Sancho to reignite his spark, Chelsea’s latest young signings, namely Kendry Paez and William Estevao, will join the Blues in the summer and further increase the competition for the Englishman.

What could be the possible solution to the Jadon Sancho problem faced by Chelsea?

After analyzing the situation, the only solution that Enzo Maresca can provide is to give more game time to Jadon Sancho so that the youngster gets enough opportunity to prove his worth.

Sancho showed his elegance and revived his career to some extent as he helped the Blues climb up to second place in the Premier League points table back in December. 

On top of that, Sancho has made himself comfortable with the players and the staff and is now seen as a prominent figure in the Chelsea dressing room.
