Juventus are reportedly on the verge of reaching an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for their star striker, Randal Kolo Muani, for a loan deal. According to Fabrizio Romano, the loan deal will be valid until the end of the season, with no option to buy.
Juventus were targeting a striker in this January transfer window, with the club being linked to multiple players since the beginning of the month. However, they eventually identified Kolo Muani as their top target and are now closing in on an agreement. Kolo Muani’s future at PSG appears to be quite gloomy as the French striker has been tipped for a departure since the beginning of the season.
The 26-year-old striker has struggled with game time this season, playing just 453 minutes across all competitions, as per One Football. A departure appeared imminent for the Frenchman as he headed into this transfer window, with several rumors of a possible move this month.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also in the race, which is led by Juventus
Along with Juventus, Premier League giants Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur were also linked to Kolo Muani for a potential move in this transfer window. Man United have been interested in signing the young striker since last summer, with the club failing to reach an agreement back then. It appears to be a similar situation for the Red Devils this time around as well.
Tottenham have also expressed their interest in Kolo Muani this January as Ange Postecoglou looks to strengthen his attack. While the club signed 2 strikers in the summer, namely Dominik Solanke on a permanent deal and Timo Werner on a loan deal, the Australian manager is reportedly not satisfied with his options for the no. 9 position. This mainly is because of Timo Werner’s underwhelming performance, who is on loan from RB Leipzig. Werner has also been linked to the likes of AC Milan and Napoli, who are interested in signing the German striker this month.
