Liverpool will take on Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield tonight in the second leg of the semi-final of the Carabao Cup.

Spurs will be heading into the match with a 1-goal advantage, following an inspiring win in the first leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Lucas Bergvall’s goal was enough to see Spurs through in the first leg. With Spurs arriving at the fortress Anfield with a one-goal cushion, they will be aiming to qualify for their first-ever final since the 2019 UEFA Champions League final.

Liverpool, on the other hand, will be aiming to keep their hopes of winning the historical quadruple by trying to complete a turnaround in the tie following their surprising 1-0 defeat in the first leg.

Team News and Injury Updates

Liverpool

Liverpool were given a fresh blow by the injury to their star defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was forced off the pitch during Saturday’s clash against Bournemouth.

As per Liverpool Echo, the injury is minor and is expected to keep out the Englishman just for tonight's clash.

Apart from Trent, the Reds are reported to have no other injuries in their squad.

Tottenham Hotspur

On the contrary, Ange Postecoglou’s side will be heading into tonight's clash with a long list of injuries, with the latest blow coming from Ragdu Drâgusin’s horrible ACL injury.

Drâgusin’s injury means that Spurs now have a total of 10 injuries in their squad currently, which is the highest amongst all the teams in the Premier League.
