Real Madrid have reportedly indicated that they would be willing to accept a whopping €300m offer from Saudi Arabia for their prized asset, Vinicius Junior.

This acceptance, however, comes with a crucial condition: either the Saudi Arabian outfit must meet Vinicius' €1 billion release clause, or the Brazilian winger himself must express a desire to leave the Spanish giants, according to Dario AS.

Real Madrid have been adamant that they want to hold onto the 24-year-old for the foreseeable future, and for good reason. After joining the Spanish giants at the age of 18, Vinicius struggled for the early few years after the club tried to push him as the ‘next Ronaldo.’.

However, both his stats and mentality improved impeccably, becoming Real's most crucial asset with their strong European campaigns and a sure shot Ballon d'Or contender for the coming years.

Last year's public Real Madrid exit from the Ballon d'Or since Vinicius was not receiving it shows their commitment to the player.

Will Saudi go ahead and disrupt the transfer market forever with Vinicius Jr.'s transfer?

The €1 billion release clause in Vinicius' contract is a significant deterrent, and Saudi Arabia would need to be willing to shell out this enormous sum to trigger the release clause.

Forbes notes that the Saudi Pro League is preparing a record-breaking €300 million transfer offer for Vinicius, which would give the Brazilian a €1 billion deal over five years.

However, this offer falls short of the release clause, and Real Madrid are unlikely to budge unless the clause is met.

Although, as mentioned, in the rare chance that Vinicius were to express a desire to leave Real Madrid, the club would be willing to negotiate with Saudi Arabia.

As Khelnow reports, Vinicius has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, with teams like Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli willing to secure his services.

Sporting News notes that Vinicius has insisted he is happy at Real Madrid and wants to continue making history with the club.

However, the Saudi League was able to cash in on a lot of expensive and shocking deals the past two years, which leaves the situation in an open case.

Only time will tell if Vinicius will remain at the Santiago Bernabeu or will make a high-profile move to the Saudi Pro League in case his release clause is triggered, which would disrupt the transfer market forever.
